  • Birth date: for numerology calculations and zodiac sign determination
  • Email address: for newsletter subscriptions, contact forms, and reading orders
  • Name: when ordering personalized readings
  • Saved results: quiz progress, quiz scores, calculator inputs, calculator summaries, result labels, and completion timestamps when you are logged in
  • IP address: for rate limiting, security, and abuse prevention
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, timestamps, and user agent

2. How We Use Your Data

NumoStars provides digital numerology and zodiac reports, quizzes, and calculators for entertainment and informational purposes only. Quiz results and calculator results are not medical advice. We use your data to:

  • Create and maintain your NumoStars account
  • Show your selected profile name, profile link, and avatar on your account profile
  • Verify your email address, authenticate logins, and help you reset your password
  • Save quiz progress and calculator results to your account dashboard
  • Generate personalized numerology and zodiac results as digital entertainment products
  • Send weekly zodiac newsletter (if subscribed)
  • Respond to contact form inquiries
  • Process digital content orders and deliver them digitally
  • Prevent abuse and enforce rate limits
  • Improve our services and user experience

3. Generated Content

We do not currently offer AI generated readings. Any quiz, calculator, or numerology result shown on the site is created by our site logic for entertainment and informational use only.

4. Data Retention

  • Account data: while your account remains active, unless you request deletion or we need to retain limited records for legal, security, or operational reasons
  • Email verification and password reset codes: stored as hashes and cleared or overwritten when no longer needed
  • Saved quiz and calculator results: while your account remains active, or until you clear saved dashboard results, delete your account, or request deletion
  • Numerology readings cache: up to 12 months
  • Contact form messages: up to 12 months
  • Email subscriptions: until you unsubscribe
  • Order data: up to 24 months
  • Rate limit records: automatically deleted after 1 hour

5. Payment Processing

When you purchase a personalized reading, your payment is processed by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor. During checkout:

  • Your credit or debit card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form
  • We never see, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or expiration date
  • Stripe may collect your name, email, billing address, and card details to process the transaction
  • Stripe shares a transaction ID and payment confirmation with us so we can fulfill your order

6. Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

  • Stripe: for secure payment processing
  • Resend: for sending transactional and newsletter emails
  • Cloudflare: for CDN, security, and CAPTCHA (Turnstile) protection

These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

We use minimal cookies:

  • Session cookie: for account login persistence, CSRF protection, and rate limiting
  • Dark mode preference: to remember your theme choice
